What is Montgomery Housing Partnership (MHP)?
- Developed and currently manages over 1,000 units. In all but one of our larger multi-family properties, MHP bought and renovated a distressed eyesore and substandard rental property and converted it to a high quality and still affordable rental home;
- Become a resource to distressed neighborhoods by assisting with leadership development, needs assessments, intervention buying, renovation and sale of distressed single family homes, and intervention buying and renovation of distressed small apartment buildings; and
- Created an innovative offering of education and human services programs at Amherst Square to model the benefits of "Community Life" services for MHP tenants, MHP properties and the connection of MHP renters to their community.
